Bill Cooke is back with his insight in to the town’s past; Anita Young is holding two wildlife drawing workshops; the ever popular film nights continue to brighten the winter months and the board games nights bring challenges and entertainment to all those who join in. 2020 also recognises the 75th anniversary of VE day and we will be looking to mark the occasion. Stockton Heath festival takes places in July and we have something different in the pipelines for this year. More details will be announced later in the year.
Board Games Nights in 2020
Board gaming nights are held on the third Thursday of every month. A variety of games will be on offer from simple to complex, short to long, player vs player or ones where you work together as a team. All abilities and ages from 16 years and up are welcome.
Stockton Heath Library Re-opens
Stockton Heath Library reopened on Monday 2nd September following a 12-week, £195,000, redevelopment that includes dementia-friendly design throughout and more flexible activity and events spaces. Other improvements made during the redevelopment, aim to transform the library into a more fit for purpose facility for the South Warrington community.
