The "Friends of the South Warrington Library in Stockton Heath" (SWISH) are dedicated to making the library a valued asset of the Local Community by supporting the development of activities which enhance the use of its facilities. SWISH seek to make the library a valuable local resource by holding regular events such as Film Nights, Board Game Nights, Wine Tasting, Lectures and Art Exhibitions. Reading Friends is a new kind of weekly reading group that brings people together - in a relaxed and social atmosphere - to read, have a cup of tea and chat. No need to book, just turn up for our first session on the 17th November from 7:30 to 8:30pm.

The SWISH Friends’ reading group has returned to Stockton Heath library, meeting on the second Tuesday of every month at 11am. The next meeting is on Tuesday 12 October at 11.00am where we will be discussing “The Whistleblower” by Robert Peston.

Board Games Nights

Board Games Nights
Board Games Nights are back on Thursday, October 21st and then on the third Thursday of every month. A variety of games will be on offer from simple to complex, short to long, player vs player or ones where you work together as a team.  All abilities and ages from 16 years and up are welcome.
