New Board Gaming Club

A new monthly Board Game Club is being started here at Stockton Heath Library. The first night will be Tuesday 23rd October from 7.30 to 10.30pm.

A variety of games will be on offer from simple to complex, short to long, player vs player or ones where you work together as a team. Some examples of the types of games we will play include Codenames, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic & Carcassone.

All abilities and ages from 16 years and up are welcome. If you are completely new to board games don’t worry, help will be on hand to guide you. You are more than welcome to bring along any games you own and would like to play with others.

Board gaming is a great way to socialise and has been proven to have health benefits such as increasing cognitive function and reducing stress. Importantly tea, coffee & biscuits will be available – plus cake if anyone fancies doing some baking!

For more information please feel free to email Jon Middleton if you would like to come along or let me know if you want to play something in particular.
