Martin Edwards – Crime Writer

As part of Crime Reading Month, SWISH are proud to host a talk by the well known crime writer Martin Edwards about the way classic crime fiction by Agatha Christie and other ‘Golden Age‘ writers has influenced modern crime writing.

Martin is chair of the Crime Writers’ Association and President of the Detection Club. He is author of 18 novels and has edited 36 crime anthologies as well as acting as Series Consultant to the British Library’s Crime Classics. His books about the genre, The Golden Age of Murder and The Story of Classic Crime in 100 books, have won and been nominated for a wide range of awards in the the UK and US.
