Join author and historian Dr. Bill Cooke as he explains the history of Warrington’s medieval churchmen. Robert Hallam, Thomas Penketh and Richard Bancroft, all Warrington born and bred, rose to eminent positions in the church of their day and changed the way things happened. But were their actions ones we would endorse today? Here can be found an interesting test-case of applying modern standards to times gone past.
